All-on-4 is a full-arch treatment concept in which a fixed bridge is supported by four strategically placed dental implants. It may be considered when most or all teeth in one jaw are missing or have a poor long-term prognosis. A clinical examination and 3D imaging are required before suitability can be confirmed.
02Are the teeth fitted on the same day?+
A fixed temporary bridge may sometimes be fitted soon after implant placement when implant stability, bone quality, bite and general health allow. It should never be promised before assessment. The definitive bridge is normally made after a period of healing.
03Is All-on-4 the same as dentures?+
No. A full-arch implant bridge is fixed to implants and is not removed by the patient. A conventional denture rests on the gums and is removable. Fixed bridges still require careful cleaning beneath the restoration and regular professional maintenance.
